    Baby News

We went to the doctor yesterday and it looks like Baby Borman is a Boy! I have been warned that the tech could be wrong but we have a picture of what looks like the winkie! So Alexander Karl will be here in about 19 more weeks.

Addie & 20 weeks baby belly

Here is mama playing some Wii golf. You can clearly see she has a belly that cannot be hidden. Baby is getting bigger! Today we go to find out the gender (hopefully!)!

    Super Senses...

This baby has clearly given me a crazy sense of smell. Last night when I got home close to 7pm, Eric helped me carry in the groceries. Standing next to him in the kitchen I asked, "What did you have to drink today?" He looked at me funny and said, "Nothing." I looked back and asked again. He then responded with "cookies and soda." Not being satisfied with his answer I just looked at him. He then caved and told me he had a beer at 2 o'clock that afternoon.

    Blogger

At the request of Jesi, I have switched to using blogger for this baby website. I was hand coding it before but do not have the time to hand code a comment section. Nope! No way! Anyway... It took me a few tries but I finally got this page to look right using blogger... (I hope). Blabity... now I expect comments people!

    Happy Fat Tuesday!

Mama and baby seem perfectly fine. I got a call last Friday about that gestational diabetes test I took a few weeks ago. We are golden. I was truly worried about it given that according to the text books I am extremely obese. When you look at me I know I am hefty - but it is in all the right places and I am no weakling. I will kick your ass.
I can't believe its 4pm already. Or make that 4:30pm already! I have been super busy at work - both yesterday and today. I have had no time to do anything other than answer the damn phone. Looks like ticket donations will have to wait another day. Happy Mardi Gras!
Last night baby was more active than ever... its still really faint but I can tell something is going on in there! I have been checking out baby stuff online... wow. There are some crazy high chairs out there! I would never spend that much on a chair for a kid to use for a few years to eat but the design is nifty! This chair costs nearly $400. Crazy. Just crazy.

    Already 19 Weeks!

My scanner has been out of commission (of sorts) for a while now. I finally took a quick snapshot of my last sonogram. I was 12 weeks pregnant. On February 15, Eric and I will go back to see the baby once again! Hopefully he or she won't be shy and let us take a peek.
Here is what I was thinking on December 20, 2007 shortly after I went to get the sonogram. I have been sick since Saturday evening. Sick - coughing my eyeballs out sick. Sick - drinking water 23 hours a day sick. Sick - peeing 300 times a day sick. On top of all of that, I had a doctor appointment that I could not reschedule due to the crazy holiday hours. I saw my baby moving in my belly! That opened my eyes up to the fact that I really am pregnant! I have some excellent pictures that I need to get digitized... you can see the face outlined clearly! Wow. I am still sick. I am going to go pee...

    Starting a Baby Page!

    Maitai?
He officially asked me to marry him December 24, 2001. As of 2004 we had no real plans about a wedding. After traveling to Ireland with some friends, Kathy suggested we all take a trip to Hawaii. Eric jumped at the idea and said that while we were there we should get married. What barefoot hippy girl could say no to that? The group trip to Hawaii fell through. But Eric? plan to get married in a tropical paradise did not.

In January 2006 I noticed that there was an awesome concert in Hawaii in April. So we jumped to get there in time for the show, which we never made it to. We finally got married on Waialae Beach in Hawaii on April 23, 2006. We spent most of our time drinking Maitais on the beach. Later that year, we took a little trip to Alaska with friends to celebrate Fred and Memry's wedding.

We still feel like kids ourselves, but we are now going to have one of our own. Our due date is June 29th, 2008. AdelinaMae.com
